Scott Ouderkirk is and artist, author and craftsman, but prefers to call himself a creator. He goes where his whim takes him, whether it be stained glass, wooden boat restoration, drawing, writing, or videos. Check in often as you never know what he'll choose to try next, but you know it will be interesting.

Scott Lane Ouderkirk

Hartley & Lane

Lane is a young man in the early 1960’s following in the footsteps of his uncle. His uncle Hartley owns a wooden boat marina he founded in 1930 on a small island situated on the American side of the St Lawrence River, in the 1000 Islands. The two men love boats, both old and new, but always made out of wood. They also share a secret, occasionally traveling back in time to the year of whatever boat they’re in. This only happens when they travel through a certain spot on the river. Join them on their adventures.

Wooden Boat Experience

The Wooden Boat Experience is a series of videos Scott created that are hosted by our Glass Goat YouTube channel. The WBE was started when the ACBS brought their international boat show to Alexandria Bay, NY near us. Wooden boat repairs, shows, shops and rides are shown in these videos.

Stained Glass

Scott began creating stained glass in around 2001. He had been mostly drawing and painting with oils before making the change. He does several commissions each year. He'd be pleased to create something beautiful for you.
